When the day finally arrives you want to be prepared. The tools you'll need depend on how you registered. Below is what Authors, Artists, and Teachers should bring to the conference at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Young authors may bring a laptop. Stories Students also need to bring pencils and a notebook. While touring the museum's art, students search for a piece of art that reminds them of a story in their life. Their notebook will be used as a running record of those connections/story ideas.

All participating sketch artists are expected to bring a sketchbook, pencil, and a laptop for the day's work. Additional materials will be available for the final artwork submission.

All participating 3D artists are expected to bring a sketchbook, pencil, and a laptop (optional) to develop preliminary work for their final piece. Three-D materials and a documentation station will be available to photograph their work.

The success of this conference begins and ends with its teachers. Besides your inspiring attitude, we recommend writing teachers bring a notebook for touring the museum and a laptop (optional). The laptop will allow you to connect with your students to give feedback but is not mandatory.

Art teachers should bring a sketchbook and laptop (optional). The laptop will enable you to assist students in photographing their work.
